Terra Construction Group is spearheaded by Joseph Picataggi Sr. and Joseph Picataggi Jr., and with a combined 70+ years of Real Estate experience. Joe Picataggi Jr
Principal - President
Joe Picataggi Jr is a native Long Islander and is responsible for managing Terra’s day-to-day operations. Since Joining Terra, Joe’s transaction history includes developing 10 Shenandoah Blvd in Port Jefferson Station, 52 Hunter Avenue in Miller Place NY, 63 Hallock lane in Rocky Point, NY, as well as 19 Foster Avenue in Hampton Bays, NY.
Furthermore, Joe is responsible for spearheading the acquisition, design, and entitlement process for Terra’s Windwood Oaks Development, a 9-lot subdivision located in the Village of Lake Grove, and Miller Place Development, which is comprised of five single-family homes in the hamlet of Miller Place.
Prior to joining Terra, Joe was a Development Transaction Manager for The Vorea Group. While at Vorea, Joe was involved in and spearheaded over $500M in development transactions, including ground-up residential projects in Gowanus Brooklyn and Huntsville, Alabama, as well as multiple commercial developments and repositioning’s.
Joe Picataggi Sr
Principal – President of Construction
Joe Sr is a seasoned construction professional with over 30 years of construction and development experience. Joe Sr is responsible for leading all of Terra’s construction activities and has successfully managed the construction of residential, commercial, and capital expenditure projects to ensure that each project meets Terra’s standards of excellence.
Brendan Callahan
Development Manager
As a Development Manager for Terra Construction Group, Brendan supports the development team in underwriting, sourcing financing, contract negotiation and provides management of the design, construction and client relation process with specialized skillset residential development and construction. Brendan plays a pivotal role in ensuring each project runs smoothly from start to finish.
Prior to joining Terra, Brendan was an a Real Estate Sales and Management Associate at Kelly Development Corp., and an Assistant PM at AmTrust Realty Corp, where he was responsible for managing residential construction and large scale commercial capital expenditure projects.
Brendan is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta Business School with a Bachelor of Business Economics.
Tyler Streim
Assistant Project Manager
As an Assistant Project Manager at Terra Construction Group, Tyler brings a passion for precision and a dedication to excellence to every custom home project. Tyler is skilled in coordinating with clients, architects, and subcontractors, as well as managing timelines, and quality control to bring dream homes to life. With exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication, Tyler thrives in turning complex projects into seamless and successful builds.
When not on-site or managing schedules, Tyler enjoys Skiing and Golfing and takes pride in contributing to homes that reflect the unique visions of their clients.
Tyler is a Graduate of Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance and Sustainability from The University of Vermont.
Kevin Spalding
Director of Pre-Construction
With more than 25 years of experience in both the commercial and residential construction markets, Kevin has
managed multi-unit residential ground-up construction as well as large-scale renovations, involving both
affordable and market-rate housing, in and around New York City. Prior to Joining Terra, Kevin lead MDG
Construction teams for new construction, rehabilitation and renovation projects. With experience in all stages
of the construction process, Kevin consults on planning, design, project management and regularly coordinates
with Terra’s Project Management groups regarding substantial building improvement projects and procurement
strategy. Prior to joining MDG, Kevin served in various positions for two well-known third-party construction
managers, Turner Construction and Triton Construction, building commercial projects in the New York City
Metro area.. He also served as a VP & Project Executive for the largest Affordable builder in NYC, L+M Builders
from 2008 – 2018. Kevin graduated from St. John’s University with a degree in Finance.
